Shibori is a set of resist dyeing techniques for fabric developed over centuries in Japan. The word comes from the root verb shiboru which means “to wring, squeeze, press.” Students will also learn several folding techniques.You may also bring your own shirt or small item to dye if you choose. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dyed.
